Promotional Shots for “Chicago”

Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre was nice enough to ask me to do more promotional shots, this time for their upcoming production of “Chicago”.  For these shots, they chose to have the actors playing Billy, Velma, and Roxie get in costume and make up and we did a couple of different set-ups – one on stage, one in the lobby, and one outside, reminiscent of the shots I did for “Forever Plaid”.  The women were in pretty skimpy clothes, but they were great and didn’t complain about being paraded outside in 20 degree temperatures.  I processed them to give a little richer color, and did some black and whites as well.  They also wanted to do something a little different for the headshots, so besides the traditional shots, we did some with each actor holding a white card and making different faces (plus I processed them to look “gritty”) – the creative director is going to add numbers and names on the cards so they look like mugshots.  I’m really enjoying working with LTWB, and when I went back to shoot a couple of extra headshots, I got to see rehearsal, and it sounded great! If you’re in Northeast PA, try to get there to see the show, it should be a lot of fun – more information is available on their website.
